Hi! I’m Byanka — a self-taught baker from sunny Southern California with a deep passion for baking, especially sourdough. I believe in living a healthy, full life, and that’s exactly what led me to the beautiful, rewarding process of sourdough baking.
Sourdough is special. Unlike most breads, it ferments for 24+ hours, creating a loaf that’s not only rich in nutrients but also bursting with a unique, slightly sour flavor thanks to natural lactic and acetic acid. But for me, it’s more than just bread — it’s a ritual that connects people. Whether it’s shared with family, gifted to neighbors, or broken with strangers, sourdough has a way of bringing us together while nourishing both body and spirit.
Alongside sourdough, I have a deep love for creating pastries and cakes. From delicate, buttery layers to rich, celebratory confections, I find joy in crafting treats that bring comfort, celebration, and a touch of sweetness to everyday life. Baking in all its forms is my passion — its both an art and act of love that I’m grateful to share with others
